The Gathering is a relaxed evening of worship, fellowship, and learning. Come as you are and encounter Christ in the midst of this unique Christian community. During the summer, we have the Gathering worship service with no meal or Christian education afterwards. The Gathering Meal Fellowship Dinner as well as Christian Education for all ages takes place after The Gathering Eucharist.

5:00 p.m. ~ The Gathering Eucharist

The Gathering experience begins with worship at 5:00 p.m. Using Anglican worship resources from Ireland, Scotland, and New Zealand, this acoustic communion service has an entirely different feel from our morning worship services. The Gathering Band (which includes acoustic guitar, flute, violin, cello, mandolin, and sometimes even melodica!) leads us in singing traditional and new arrangements of hymns from The 1982 Hymnal and also modern Christian music that reflects the Gathering’s ancient-modern style of worship.  Click here to listen to a sample of the Gathering Music.

6:00 p.m. ~ The Gathering Meal: Fellowship Dinner

The Gathering service lasts about fifty minutes, and everyone is invited to stay for a substantial, and delicious meal prepared and served by Gathering Meal Teams, made up of members of the congregation. No reservations needed. Donations are welcome to offset costs.

6:30 p.m. ~ The Gathering Program: Christian Education for all Ages

After dinner, we begin an hour of Christian Education for people of all ages.

Adults participate in thought-provoking classes offered by both clergy and members of the parish.
